House share with WFH translator

Offering a single, light, furnished room in 2-bedroom shared house. Use of kitchen (gas cooker, no microwave), living room, shared bathroom. Central heating and wifi. All bills except telephone included. Suit non-TV addict as I don't have telly!

St John's University and York General Hospital are in easy walking distance. King's Manor/Archaeology Faculty of York University and the city centre are about 20 mins walk.

There is permit-free parking in the street, and space to store a bike in the yard.

I work from home, so I need someone who understands the need at times to be quiet, but I do also enjoy an occasional chat.
