Beautiful quiet room close to York city centre

A ground floor room with an ensuite shower room is available to rent. This is a carefully modernised Victorian house overlooking the river Ouse and about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The bills are included in the cost the the room, there is access to the washing machine and use of the house kitchen is available, except when the main house is let to Airbnb guests. There’s a microwave and mini fridge in the room and free on-street parking is available.
Vegetarians preferred, or at least no meat is allowed in the kitchen.

The family sleeping quarters are on the first floor and away from the rented room. The room would suit a tidy, post graduate student or professional who is looking for a quiet, stylish place to live. I am a live-in landlady, a teacher and also work from home.
