Two Furnished Double Rooms available in a modern semi-detached house close to the City of York and outer-ring road. Looking for tidy, relaxed individuals.

Available from 15th January. This is a no-meat household, so vegetarians and vegans preferred.

Some of the photos in this ad are older, so the rooms MUST be viewed in person to account for the house feeling more 'lived in' and the garden being more 'rewilded'. Unfortunately I have not been around to update the photos.

Bedroom 2 is overdue redecoration. I would be happy to do this myself, but I thought I would start advertising the room now in case someone interested really wants to make the room their own.

This is a four-bed property, but I, the live-in landlord, am often traveling for campaigning work, so don't expect to see me often.

We're looking for an additional respectful, relaxed, tidy, and like-minded flatmate. This is a meat-free household, so please do not apply if you are unwilling to respect this. Vegans or vegetarians preferred. Small companion animals are potentially welcome too, this can be discussed.

Shared upstairs modern bathroom with bath/shower.
Additional downstairs toilet.

Shared Kitchen/Diner with own cupboard space. There is an American style fridge/freezer meaning there is ample space for fresh food. There is a very modern washing machine in the utility room. Kitchen includes essential amenities such as a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and food processor. Good condition shared kitchen utensils available, or bring your own.

Spacious shared living room with a modern sofa and 42" UHD 4K Smart TV. There is also a desk if you need a change of scenery whilst working from home!

Secure and private garden and patio area to front and rear of the property. Includes a secure but unsheltered bike rack. Lots of plants and wildlife. We have had birds and hedgehogs nesting in our hedge.

Plenty of on-street parking available.

Good access to the City of York (20 minutes by bus, 15 by bike).

Commuter access to York ring-road and Leeds.

All bills included, including renewable gas & electricity (Octopus); ethical broadband (GreenISP Superfast Fibre); water; council tax. I also provide eco-friendly household cleaning products (e. g. washing up liquid, bathroom cleaner, toilet roll etc).
