In my semi-detached house in the Sovereign Park development, I have 2 double rooms available for rent. All bills are included, and the room has been recently decorated, has a lockable door and is fully furnished with a wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers and bedding.
The lounge has 2 sofas, 2 reclining armchairs and a 37-inch TV. The kitchen has also been recently decorated, with a hob with extractor hood, fan assisted double oven with grill, breakfast bar, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, 900w microwave and a large oval table with chairs. The utility room contains a washer, dryer and fridge-freezer. The bathroom contains a shower, bath, toilet and hand basin, and is shared between a maximum of 4. There is also a separate shared toilet on the ground floor. The shed in the pleasant enclosed garden is lockable and provides secure bike storage. Off-street parking is available at the rear.
There is a bus stop within a minute's walk, served by the 5, 5A, 10 and 59 routes. The house is within a 15 minute bike ride of the railway station, the Minster, Benenden, Nestle and the Hospital. Both the A1237 ring road and the centre of Acomb are reached within 5 minutes by car.
A little about myself: I came to York about 20 years ago to study and liked it so much I decided to stay in the city. I work for an insurance company based in the centre of town, but am currently working mostly from home.
