Double room to rent in a friendly house with 1 female/1 male (couple) housemates. I work in York city centre and am the live-in landlord of the property. We also have a three legged cat (Toby!).

The room is furnished with a double bed, desk, desk chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelf and TV with hdmi connector. There is a sunny shared living room with a smart TV. The kitchen has a seating area-a microwave, dishwasher and tumble dryer are also provided. There is a large back garden with patio seating and a washing line. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower.

The rent is £500 a month. This includes all utility bills as well as council tax, unlimited fibre broadband and TV licence.

There is on street parking outside the house. Bus stop is less than 10mins walk away and takes you right into city centre. House is also near to the Foss Island Cycle route into town. Only a 30min walk to city centre and 25min walk to the university main campus library. Also easy access to A64 if driving.

There is a Coop, Lloyds pharmacy, Thomas the Baker and multiple takeaways 5min walk down the road.

We are looking for a friendly, sociable and tidy person to join our home. We enjoy cooking and relaxing in the evenings or heading out to the pub.
