The room has a built-in wardrobe with shelves and hanging space and a large set of drawers. A double bed frame with built-in storage is also included but you will need to provide your own mattress.
In addition to the room, the shared space includes a large modern kitchen/dining, washing machine/tumble dryer and dishwasher. A sitting room at the rear of the house is available. There is also a very large shared bathroom with a shower and bath.
I have a lovely small garden area at the back of the house and bench seating at the front to admire the view!
The house itself overlooks the Knavesmire with lovely green parkland and is a short walk to the very popular Bishopthorpe Road, Rowntree Park, the river and the city centre. It's also a very easy commute to York Uni.
ABOUT ME
I am a (very young!!) 48-year-old professional, I enjoy walking cycling, TV, shopping and socialising and love to sit outside in the sunshine with a glass of something cold!
I love my home so I am looking for a quiet tenant who is clean, tidy and respectful of the space and furniture. I would like to rent the space to either a student or professional. I would prefer somebody who does not work from home.
Finally, I have a lovely cat :) She spends most of her time outside or sleeping on one of the neighbours' beds so she won't be bothering you much!
