One bedroom (photos posted here) for single occupancy in a 3-bedroom house will be available from 1 Dec 2025. Additionally, a smaller single bedroom (adjacent to the advertised room) will be available from end of Jan 2025. Instead of renting out the small bedroom separately, we are offering it as an additional space for the potential tenant at an extra £100/month, on top of the £625 rent for the main room, if you would consider. This could be used, for example, as a bedroom and a separate office or dressing room. PLEASE note that we do NOT let out the smaller room individually, it is optional to the person who takes the main room with photos here.

We are at Chapelfields Road, Acomb, York , YO26 , all utility bills included, EXCEPT for the tumble dryer.

The room comes fully furnished, as seen in the photos. The room features an electric single bed, a walk-in wardrobe with chests of drawers, clothes organizer, an office desk with a chair, bookshelves, pegboard organizer and full length mirror etc.

The house will be shared by a total of 3 persons. Full fiber internet. You will share the house with two working professionals.

The house was decorated about 2.5 years ago and the upstairs bathroom was just renovated early this month.

In the kitchen there are a microwave, a brand new double door fridge & freezer, an under counter fridge (for your own use) , a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and hobs and oven, etc.

The garden room, serving as the living room, is equipped with a 50'' TV, a dining table , sofa chairs and more. The house boasts a South-North orientation with big front and back gardens. The front garden can easily park 2 cars, and ample space for free off-street parking too.

There is an upstairs bathroom with a toilet and a downstairs toilet available.

The house enjoys a convenient location, with 2 bus stops within a 3-minute walk. One serves as the final Acomb stop for bus No. 1, while the other is for bus No. 5A. Both buses run frequently to the train station, York hospital and around the city. There is a Costcutter store just around the corner (opposite the No. 1 bus stop, a mere 2-minute walk from the house), and a large Morrisons is only a 3- minute drive away (or a 10-minute walk). Various amenities such as a pharmacy, post office, car washing&valeting services, a car fixing garage (all around near the Morrison's) are all within about 10 mins walking distance.

Working professional preferred. We are looking for a quiet, clean, and tidy person to join us. As our neighbors are elderly, we ask for quietness late at night. Additionally, we value cleanliness and expect shared spaces to be kept tidy at all times. We follow a cleaning schedule every two weeks, and we would appreciate it if you’re willing to take turns (This won't be hard as we strictly keep places clean after each use).
