Description
A room to share with a family (children 4yo + 8yo) in Acomb.
Council TAX + bills included.
Wi-Fi provided.
The room is newly decorated and fully furnished (IKEA - double bed, bedside table, 2 wardrobed, chest of drawers) with a nice garden view.
Any additional requests, such as bedsheets, mirror, bin, laundry bin - just ask.
The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom, but to be shared with 4 and 8yo (the children are staying at the property only 50% of a time, so this is mainly for the use and maintenance of the Lodger).
Visitors accepted but within reason and agreed upon prior.
Living room to be shared, often occupied in the evenings. Large dining table for bigger meals. There is a comfy sofa, coffee table and a small home cinema (we are open to share a Netflix night once in a while).
Shared brand new kitchen is well equiped (2 ovens, gas hob, electric kettle, toaster, airfryer, cutlery, pots and pans). Breakfast table for quick meals. There is one fridge/freezer, so the space is limited (to be shared sensibly).
No time restriction with regards to cooking, as long as it's clean and tidy.
There's an extra value to the kitchen: bean to cup coffee machine ;)
Toilet downstairs for sharing.
Nice size garden to be shared.
Plenty of space to park a car by the property.
Some space in the garage to offer (for your bike for example).
There is an additional reception room downstairs - used by me as a study (I work purely from home).
This is a family house and we are looking for a friendly addition to it. The person to live with us must have some degree of patience and noise resilience (especially in the morning get-ready-to-school hours) and be willing to accept and get on with my children. They bond very easily, you'd need to expect them being curious and looking for some form of interaction.
A sensible volume of noise is expected past 8pm when the children are going to sleep.
A friendly relation based on understanding and trust appreciated. I don't exclude any option of cooperation, if fair and sensible.
Everybody living in the house is expected to keep it tidy and contribute to the standard chores, such as cleaning bathroom, kitchen, hallway, staircase, living room. Leaving the common areas messy - not welcomed!
