Large double room in five-storey Victorian house

Hi, we are Dan and Jane and we own this beautiful 5-bedroom property and we are looking for a female professional or a mature student for a spacious double room we have to let. You'll be sharing the facilities with me, Jane and one other lodger. She is an 29-year old midwife student at University of York

I have my own business, sometimes working from home, York city centre or in our London office. My 22-year old son will be around when he returns during the university holidays. Jane is here most nights and sometimes works from home.

This large Victorian house is located on Fulford Road. It’s a 15-minute walk to York university campus, 15 minutes to Bishopthorpe Road and a 8-minute bus ride to the train station (No. 7 P&R, runs every 15 mins)

We are looking for a friendly and tidy female who will pay rent on time and treat the house like her home.

You’ll have use of the ground floor sitting room (comes with TV and comfy sofas) with the other lodger, as well sharing the bathroom (that has both shower and bath).

Feel free to sit in the garden and enjoy the view.

Rent includes:

* All bills (gas, electricity, council tax and fast broadband)
* Weekly clean of all communal areas
* Free on-street parking on St. Oswalds Road
* Use of washing machine, dryer and heated drying racks in basement
* Basement for storage of large items (subject to agreement)
* Thick walls meaning the room is always quiet

Although I don’t have any pets, Jane sometimes brings around her golden labrador. So you need to be OK with dogs.
