Hi I am Dan, I own this beautiful 5-bedroom property and I am looking for a professional or postgrad student for a spacious double room I have to let. You'll be sharing the facilities with me and another lodger, who is a 28-year old male, who is a restaurant manager.

I have my own business, sometimes working from home, York city centre or in our London office. My 22-year old son will be around when he returns during the university holidays.

This large Victorian house is located on Fulford Road. It’s a 10-minute walk to York university campus, 15 minutes to Bishopthorpe Road and a 8-minute bus ride to the train station (No. 7 P&R, runs every 15 mins)

I'm looking for a friendly and tidy person who will pay rent on time and treat the house like their home.

You’ll have use of the ground floor sitting room (comes with flat screen TV and comfy sofas) with the other lodger, as well sharing the bathroom (that has both shower and bath).

Feel free to sit in the garden and enjoy the view.

The large double room comes with

* All bills (gas, electricity, council tax and fast broadband)
* Free on-street parking on St. Oswalds Road
* Use of washing machine, dryer and heated drying racks in * basement
* Basement for storage of large items (subject to agreement)
* Thick walls meaning they are always quiet

Although I don’t have any pets, my girlfriend sometimes brings around her golden labrador. So you need to be OK with dogs.
