Looking for easy going, preferably female lodgers to join me to form a friendly easy going household. Please click on the photos!
Shared communal areas in a spacious 4-bed detached home with parking, garden. High speed fibre broadband & Netflix etc, 2 bathrooms & cloakroom, great local amenities.
Public transport (no 12/14 bus & no 4 bus to York City Centre & beyond, and Acomb
Drive City centre 7mins; Quick access to A64/ A1237. I can also sometimes give you a lift to appointments etc.
New wardrobes are being fitted, desk can be supplied). TV can be available (with Bluetooth for headphones). Washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier etc.
INFO:
I have 2 rooms to let: a large double room overlooking woodland, and a 2nd smaller room (can be either small double or single). You are welcome to share all the other main rooms. It is also all newly decorated & carpeted.
I can add a desk & TV with Bluetooth for headphones if required.
It is just 2 mins walk to the the bus stop or another a few minutes walk. 2mins walk to Tesco Local & cash point, excellent rated Bourngiourno Italian & Bengal Lounge indian, and, Sloppy Joes wine bar bistros/takeaways, chinese takeaway, & pub. Further is a post office, cafe, other takeaways & shops, hairdressers etc. Also York College, Tesco Askham Bar. Park & Ride, and the Leeds bus route.
Activities: woodland walks on the doorstep, the Energize Leisure Centre, pilates etc nearby, and Poole Bridge gorgeous wild swimming lakes & kayaking 10 mins drive (I love it there).
We may be doing our own thing much of the time, but it would be good to chat over mealtime, or share an activity sometimes. I have always enjoyed housesharing before, and even used to share with 9 others in a Buddhist Centre for approx 3 years and never a wrong word. so I consider myself easy to get on with.
