Electricity for the room is topped up yourself as required with an electric card (not included in rent). For basic use i. e phones, laptop, lights, this will be approx £20 per month, more if using items like fan heaters etc.

We’ve partnered with a company called Reposit who offer an alternative to paying a cash deposit. By using Reposit you can save a lot of money upfront as you will only need to pay the Reposit fee of one weeks rent instead of a cash deposit which will be equivalent to a month rent.
Please note that just like a normal deposit, you are still liable for any valid, end of tenancy charges. The difference with Reposit is that you keep control of your cash and only pay these if they actually occur at the end of your tenancy, rather than paying at the start.

N. B. Details of the application process:

Should you wish to apply for this room we ask for a holding fee, this secures the room and is deducted from your first months rent.

Upon receipt of the holding fee, our external referencing agency will be in touch and guide you through the process. This includes a credit, income and right to rent check.

As part of the application, you are required to provide a guarantor.

The security deposit is held with the Deposit Protection Service and refundable at the end of the tenancy.
