Single Room in York, close to amenities

This shared house accommodation is situated in beautiful York, 25 minutes (walk) away from York Railway Station, 25 minutes away from the University of York, and close to Bishonthorpe Road shops. You can also get into town easily via many local buses or a leisurely 30 minutes' walk.

- £400 a month * plus bills (estimated £80-100 a month for broadband (TalkTalk), gas, electricity, and water. (This decreases in the summer when central heating is not being used).

The house ia a detached property with two other occupants. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

The bedroom is nicknamed the 'Squirrel Room' due to a pretty mural behind the wardorobe. The bed is currently a single bed that can be pulled out into a double but the landlady has offered to replace this with a fixed wooden bed.

The room is next door to the shared bathroom with all the usual facilities and a bath/over head shower.

The shared areas are the landings, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and garden/shed.

Important info:

- Students highly prefered so as to avoid extra council tax bills.

- Non-smokers are highly preferred; otherwise, you wouldn't be allowed to smoke on the property or in the garden. The current occupants are against smoking.

- No pets without explicit permission and extra fees.

- Guests are welcome to the house, but they must be considerate of the current occupants. Any overnight guests, especially those longer than 48 hours, must be discussed with the landlady first.

- Strictly no house parties.

- Alcohol allowed but to be kept in bedrooms.

- Street parking is first come first served. .
