House Share for TWO University Postgrad Students

Two postgraduates/students to share (with each other) whole house for minimum of one academic year.

The accommodation is a bright, pleasant and fully furnished house in an ideal, safe and exceptionally quiet location: In the preferred Alma Terrace, Fulford Road, area of YORK (YO10 4DL). The house is centrally heated and double glazed throughout, with substantial loft insulation.

Close to all amenities,: frequent buses into town and a stone's throw from various shops and services - Sainsbury's, Aldi, pharmacy, hairdressers, cafes and even a GP surgery linked to that on campus.

There are walks and cycle tracks into town (via riverside) as well as short cuts to Campus (West), both away from roads!

Initial contract is for 12 months, but may be renewed annually if desired.

Each of the two bedrooms has, as a minimum: chest of drawers, bedside table, desk/chair and wardrobe. There is a spacious, furnished sitting room/dining room, leading to the kitchen and large walk-in shower room.

The long galley kitchen has oven, hob, fridge, separate freezer and washing machine, kettle and microwave; and a variety of utensils, saucepans, cutlery and crockery, etc.

The large wet room contains electric shower, washbasin and WC.

Up to date gas and electrical safety certificates, and Energy Performance Certificate.. Modern gas boiler and heating controls. There are smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detector. Council Tax band B.

There is a front forecourt and a sunny rear courtyard.

A security deposit of £450 each is required (protected under an approved scheme as required by law). Rent is payable monthly in advance. All bills (including water, gas, electricity, TV and broadband) are shared between housemates.
