Short term or weekday let in character cottage

Stylish and spacious top floor room in renovated character cottage with access to shared bathroom, living area and kitchen. Short term let for one person on our top floor. We would consider weekday lettings too.
About us:
We're a professional couple whose children have flown the nest, and we have a fabulous and comfortable room overlooking The Green in Acomb, York.
I'm a former lawyer turned marketer, and my partner is an IT specialist. We're well travelled and educated, and have lived an interesting life, living all over the UK and beyond. We're in our 50s, young at heart and have an active lifestyle.
The house is fastidiously clean and well appointed, with nice furniture and gardens.
We're happy to give you the space and privacy you need, whilst being friendly and approachable if you need anything or want a chat. We've lived in shared houses ourselves across the years, so we understand what it's like.
About you: Would probably suit someone who is perhaps studying, needing a short term let, or working away from home during the week.
This arrangement is for short term lodging only, so would not suit someone who is looking to have guests over or partying in the house. The person needs to be clean and tidy around the house, and keep the room clean.
We're not looking for a permanent lodger. This is a short term let :) Would adjust price for someone who only needs to stay week days. Any questions, just ask
