Lovely landlady own the whole period town house, I have been there for two years.

Contract will be for 1 year with possibility of extending.

Please note, the flat is on the second & third floors, great views but no lift.

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Chemistry department at the University of York. I work between 8-6pm Mon-Fri with occasional weekends. I enjoy hiking, cricket, tabletop games (D&D) and music. I tend to keep to myself, but it would be nice to have someone else around the flat to talk to/occasionally eat dinner with.

I'm looking for a professional (no students) who is quiet, keeps communal areas generally tidy, is okay splitting chores.

We share kitchen utensils, crockery and equipment. I am not a vegetarian/vegan, but happy to keep separate chopping boards etc. if preferred. I tend to batch cook on Sunday afternoons, but you can still use the kitchen during that time.

Guests are welcome, I'd just appreciate a warning.
