I am looking for someone to take over my room in a lovely house, very close to the Uni of York (c.15 min on foot) and just 3 minutes away from a bus stop. Right by a Coop and walking distance to Lidl/Morrison's (c.15 min) and city center (c.20 min).

The room is on the 1st floor of a 3br house (up the stairs). It comes furnished with a double bed, a desk and chair, and drawer sets for storage. Rent is £424 monthly, no bills included. Currently, bills (gas, electricity, water, internet) come to about £70 per month per person. If you're not a student, you'd also be responsible for paying the council tax (shared with 1 other tenant).

The lease is from now until July, with the possibility for extension. You'd be responsible for a one-time £50 takeover fee.

There is a shared kitchen on the ground floor, with two full bathrooms (one on ground, the other on 1st floor, both shared). The living room is spacious, comfy, and perfect for having friends over. There is also an extra room in the house for extra storage and for drying clothes during these long winter months. You'd be living with 2 lovely women, one student and one working professional, who value having a clean and quiet living space and open communication.
