I am a live-in landlord renting two furnished double bedrooms (single bed in photo being replaced) on the top floor of my recently renovated Victorian terrace house in Acomb. Both bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and include a bed, wardrobe and drawers. Alternatively, I am happy to rent the two rooms together, converting one bedroom into a living room. There is a large shared bathroom with underfloor heating also located on the top floor.

The whole house was renovated in 2024 to an exceptionally high standard, maintaining all original Victorian features, making this a beautiful and homely space to live. On the ground floor there is a living room, dining room and kitchen with all appliances. There is a cellar and garage if extra storage is needed. There is free on-street parking. The property is located on Acomb high street, a few minutes walk from cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. The number 1 bus runs regularly into York city centre and the train station, which are just a 25 minute walk away. We are close to West Bank Park and Hob Moor, offering green spaces and beautiful walks.

I am a psychological therapist working from home, therefore I am looking for professionals who work out of the house Monday-Friday. I have two small dogs so being a pet lover is essential. I am vegetarian and would prefer to live with people who don't eat meat but this is not essential. I am looking for respectful, clean and tidy tenants to share my home with, who will look after it in the way I do. I am friendly, easy going and sociable but also like my own time and will respect your privacy.
