Modern Home in York – Double Room

About the Home:

• Stylish, modern, and well-maintained throughout

• Great location—very close to York city centre and just a 10-minute walk from the train station

• Smart lighting, OLED TVs, and premium kitchen appliances

• Spacious kitchen, separate utility room, and two bathrooms—so no fighting over the shower!

• Four-bedroom house, but only two people currently live here (myself and one other lodger), so there’s plenty of space

• One of the spare rooms currently has some lighting equipment—great for TikTok or content creation if that interests you!

• Clean, tidy, and thoughtfully kept—I take pride in maintaining a high standard of living

Current Housemates:

• You’d be sharing with me (the live-in landlord) and a 21-year-old female flatmate

• We’re friendly and social but also enjoy our own space

• We both love the gym :)
Who We’re Looking For:

I want to be completely honest—I’m really happy with how things are in the house right now, so I’m very unsure about adding a third person. The only way I’d take someone new on is if it genuinely felt like the perfect fit, without disrupting the balance we already have. Cleanliness of the kitchen / living room is VERY important. If you’re clean, considerate, and easygoing, this could be a great home for you—but I’ll only move forward if it feels absolutely right.

Viewings:

To keep things simple, I prefer to start with a video viewing before arranging an in-person visit. That way, we can both see if it’s a good match before meeting in person.
