Double room in beautiful Fulford home

Hi, I am Jane and I own this beautiful 5-bedroom property with my husband Dan. We are looking for a professional or a mature student for a spacious double room that we have to let from the start of April. You'll be sharing the facilities with us and one other female lodger (a mature student).

I am completing a doctorate at Sheffield University. I am on a work placement in York and sometimes work from home. Dan is shortly due to return from 10 months travelling. His son will sometimes be around during the university holidays.

This large Victorian house is located on Fulford Road. It’s a 30-minute walk to York university campus, 15 minutes to Bishopthorpe Road and a 8-minute bus ride to the train station (No. 7 P&R, runs every 15 mins)

We are looking for a friendly and tidy lodger who will pay rent on time and treat the house like their home.

You’ll have use of the ground floor sitting room (comes with TV and comfy sofas) with the other lodger, as well sharing the bathroom (that has both shower and bath).

Feel free to sit in the garden and enjoy the view.

Rent includes:

* All bills (gas, electricity, council tax and fast broadband)
* Weekly clean of all communal areas
* Free on-street parking on St. Oswalds Road
* Use of washing machine, dryer and heated drying racks in basement
* Basement for storage of large items (subject to agreement)
* Thick walls meaning the room is always quiet

We have a labrador who is here some of the time.
