Hi, I’m Lei. I work full-time at a university here in York. I’m usually at the office during the day, and I’m looking for a housemate who’s respectful, tidy, and easy to live with. The idea is for the place to feel like home, not just a rental. I'm a live-in landlord. 
 
The House
The house is in Dringhouses, a quiet residential area about 2 miles south-west of the city centre. It has:
• A fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and integrated appliances
• A comfortable living room that opens onto a conservatory
• A shared bathroom
• A private garden with lawn and raised flower beds
• A driveway with plenty of parking
The available room is a furnished double bedroom with good natural light.
Location
• 2-minute walk to the nearest bus stop
• 20 minutes by bus to the city centre
• 25 minutes by bus to York St John University
• Lidl is a 5-minute walk
• Acomb Front Street (shops, cafes, amenities) is about a mile away
 
Rent
• £595/month (includes all bills and council tax)

The room has a full sized single sofa bed - a new mattress will be added before move in. The bookshelf will be replaced with a clothes rail and the space with table and office chair will be replaced with a chest of drawers or small table with drawers - your choice.
