room in a central village community in Poppleton

This is primarily a Mon-Friday let. If you are looking for a 7 day let for mon to Friday prices, this is not the house for you. It is not a “student house” it is a home for me as a professional that I would like to share with company with my friendly dog. It’s a central village location in Upper Poppleton. Plenty going on and easy access to train for a 5 -10 min journey into York (station 5 mins walk)and bus access into York (route 10) for 2 min walk to bus stop. Car parking is available. The house is under cosmetic repair but this spare room is complete. It’s got a new bed, furniture and has been painted and decorated. I’m a working professional at the University and it would suit someone who needs a base in the week in York but has a permanent base elsewhere. For example for students on working placements, medic rotations, or short term working contracts. I don’t have a tv, but have a license for you to watch on internet. It’s my home, so I would expect tenants to be respectful of that. I have a dining kitchen, utility room, lounge, a large craft room all of which you are welcome to use. The room includes your own bathroom with shower. My bedroom, and bathroom are upstairs.

For mature/pg students only I would consider 7 day let but you must be registered as a student.
