room in a central village community in Poppleton

This is primarily a Mon-Friday let for £100 pw. If you are looking for a 7 day let the price is £160pw for qualifying people. (See below) It is not a “student house” it is a home for me as a professional that I would like to share with company with my friendly dog. It’s a central village location in Upper Poppleton. Plenty going on and a 10 minute walk to train station for a 5 -10 min journey into York and approximately 20 mins to harrogate. Bus access into York (route 10) with a 2 min walk to bus stop, and 20 bus ride. Car parking is available. The house is under cosmetic repair and I do the work on it on Wednesday and at weekends but there is no intrusion to the tenant. The spare room is complete. It’s got a new bed, furniture and has been painted and decorated. I’m a working professional at the University and it would suit someone who needs a base in the week in York but has a permanent base elsewhere. I don’t have a tv, but have a license for you to watch on internet. It’s my home, so I would expect tenants to be respectful of that. I have a dining kitchen, utility room, lounge, a large craft room all of which you are welcome to use. The room includes your own bathroom with shower. (Not en-suite) My bedroom, and bathroom are upstairs.

For mature/pg students / medic rotations/ placement and internship students only I would consider 7 day let for £160 per week. Anybody else need not contact me. I have a weekly cleaner for all the communal areas. You would be expected to clean your own areas and leave the room as you found it moving in.
