Description
Unfurnished double room available in a two bedroom house in Heworth.
Ground floor consists of a fully furnished cosy living room, and a spacious kitchen with two fridge freezers, dishwasher, washer/dryer, lots of storage space, gas hob, and a keen cook for a housemate! Entrance to the garden from the kitchen back door. Garden is made up of a small patio and long grass area, sprinkled with plants, lights, and my attempts at a veg and herb patch, and a greenhouse!
1st floor is where you'll find the shared bathroom, my bedroom, and the office/spare room - this space is shared, with options for communal home working if required. There will be less art supplies in this room as they belong to my current housemate. Options for storage in this room.
Top floor is the room advertised. Loft room with storage space in the eaves, a built-in desk, small wardrobe built into the wall, and a view of the minster! Unique vibey space for a bedroom.
We are located approx. 25-30 minute walk to town via Monk Bar. Rent is £600 month currently, and bills including council tax (Band A) will be around £150-200 on top of this, no fixed contract.
I am 26, working in events & customer service. I am outgoing and sociable, I love to yap and connect with people. I'm a very keen home cook (or chef?) .I love wild swimming & sauna, I've always got something crafty on the go - whether that's a vision board, scrap booking, or painting something. I dabble in poetry, both to read and write it, and adore reading in general. I thoroughly enjoy a book swap. Live music gigs are one of my favourite things to attend, I've been to many concerts on my own. As well as all things musical theatre, dance, any of the arts really! I enjoy a tipple here and there, and love a boogie. I cherish my yoga practice, mindfulness and the infinite wisdom and comfort that spirituality offers me through the highs and lows of life. It's all about balance!
I'm looking for a social & clean/tidy person to move in and call this place home! A happy medium of spending time together and independently - I'm quite spontaneous and love spending time with people and on my own.
