Double room in beautiful river-side house

Double room available in a beautiful, spacious and quiet house located on the River Ouse in the village of Naburn, 5 miles south of York, close to A64, A19 and Designer Outlet (which has Park and Ride). Lodger, professional/ post graduate required to share my home which I currently share with my friendly cat Coco, with occasional visits from family (including two young adult children) and friends. Plenty of room for your own peace and quiet or to mix in socially. I am away one weekend in every two and also often away with work.

The bedroom for rent has a separate staircase and bathroom to my own side of the house, so you have essentially exclusive access to your own bathroom. The house has 4 bedrooms in total, a generous garden with outdoor dining area, a kitchen and separate entertaining space/kitchenette, a lounge, a sun room, a utility room with washing machine, cloakroom, downstairs loo, a garage, and a spare parking spot. All bills (and Council Tax, which is band G) are included in the price, including a cleaner every two weeks for the communal areas. Use of kayaks and paddle board by arrangement!

Couples are welcome for an extra £100/month (i. e. £725 total).
