I have one room available from 10th January 2020 and another that is coming available from 3rd February for long term rental - a beautiful bedroom in professional well presented 3-bedroom house in the desirable Southbank area of York. This is a very popular area and is a few minutes walk from the popular 'UK highstreet of the year' Bishopthorpe. The house is within walking distance of the College of Law and York University, 15 -20 minutes walk to the station and town centre with York Racecourse just around the corner.

The house has everything you would expect and need - a comfy lounge, brand new 40 inch Smart TV, well equipped kitchen including a double gas oven (so there is room for everyone to cook at the same time), washing machine and tumble dryer, super fast fibre internet, large modern bathroom with Victorian bath and separate shower with enclosure.

This ground floor bedroom is well decorated and nice and light. It has a double bed and desk area with plenty of storage. The room also has a wardrobe, set of drawers, bedside table. The house is a stones throw away from the Knavesmire and just up the hill from the riverside means that there is plenty of green space for you to enjoy - and it's great if you like running. The house also has a charming, larger than average south facing courtyard complete with outside lighting - perfect for summer nights, lazy breakfasts and bbqs!

The rent is £550/575 per month which includes all bills (council tax, gas, electric, water, TV license, fibre broadband internet service and phone line) but excludes telephone call charges.

The current residents are professionals who enjoy relaxing in a peaceful home after a day at work. They are looking for people of similar age, status and background who will enjoy coming home to a clean and tidy house - a positive, proactive attitude to cleaning is a must. Someone who wouldn't mind unwinding with the odd film/tv/Netflix series/dinner out/theatre trip/pub quiz would fit in nicely.
