Lovely house close to university and town

I live in a comfortable semi-detached house, which is close to both the university and town (via a riverside walk / cycle). It is a quiet residential street. I am away a lot, so you would often have the house to yourself. Roughly, every other week-end my partner and her dog are also in the house.
There is a large double room, with chest of drawers and hanging rail. There is a shared bathroom, with shower over the bath. The front room has an open fire; there is also central heating. The kitchen is fully equipped. I am vegetarian, but my partner is not. I am happy to have meat in the house.
I have a dog, who is very friendly, and is only allowed on the ground floor.
There is garage space to keep bicycles, and plenty of parking on and off street.
