Double room available in Heworth

We have a large first floor double bedroom available in a 5 bedroom house located on Melrosegate in Heworth ideal for professionals or students. The house has a large lounge, has been recently modernised and is in a good location for the city centre.

On the ground floor is a double bedroom, lounge and large kitchen. On the first floor are three double bedrooms (one available), a bathroom with a tiled floor, shower over the bath and a separate toilet room. Finally there is a fifth double bedroom on the second floor. All the bedrooms have modern furniture and double beds.

The kitchen is well equipped with modern pale units, contrasting dark worktops and tiled floor. The equipment provided includes built in double oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Other facilities include a gas central heating system that also provides hot water and full double-glazing. Outside there is off street parking for two cars, a shed for secure storage of bikes and gardens which are maintained by the landlord.

There is a late hours supermarket nearby. The city centre is within walking distance, regular buses if preferred.

The following bills are included in the rent;
• gas
• electricity;
• council tax;
• water rates;
• internet access; and
• television licence.

Cleaners also come once every 4 weeks to clean the communal areas, the cost of which is included in the rent.

Three males (two students, one professional) and one professional female currently occupy the other rooms.

A £450 deposit is required.

Please note that applicants must be able to provide a UK guarantor in order to rent the room. The room is only available until the end of July.
