York-Woodthorpe double room

Hi! I am looking for a quiet, considerate professional male person or working student for a small double room (Bedroom 3) at £400 pcm including all bills (see pics). Lodgers tend to stay here between six months and 2 years and I have been letting my spare rooms for 15 years now. You are welcome to have an occasional visitor or partner overnight.

Our house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with good parking on the SW edge of York, well-served by bus routes, close to the A64 and A1237 and handy for commuting to York, Leeds and Harrogate or for shopping at Tesco at Askham Bar or Acomb Wood. It is close to the countryside and a mile from both York and Askham Bryan Colleges.

The room has a wardrobe and storage. Bathroom is shared with just one other person as the house has two bathrooms. Situated just off Moor Lane in YO24 and handy for both the A1237 and A64 if you are a driver - and the bus stop for the number 12 service in to York is two minutes' walk away in Moor Lane nearby. The number 4 service is a ten-minute walk away in Bellhouse Way.

Shed space for a bicycle. Looking for a quiet, straightforward, reliable and friendly person to share with. No pets please and non-smokers only. All bills including unlimited 100mbs download super-fast broadband included, with 10mbs upload speed. Sorry, we cannot have any vans parked at the property or in the street due to a property covenant. Cars are fine in the road for parking outside the house.
