Hi I am the landlord of a 4 bed house on Alcuin Avenue. The rent for the remaining room is £190 per person per week. Rent includes gas, electric, water, internet, tv licence and gardening services. There’s two lovely, quiet students who are staying in the house for another year. They are studying phd in physics and a BSC in psychology (2nd year) and another student is joining them in September who is also doing a BSC in psychology. They are looking for 1 more non smoking, female housemate who is respectful of their quiet nature. Room 4 has a double bed, walk-in wardrobe with drawers/shelf/hanging rail and desk. The photos of room 4 are in the gallery so please have a look. The house has 2 washrooms one with corner bath, the other has a shower cubicle. Both include toilet and basin. There is a large lounge with table and very comfortable 3 piece suite. The house comes fully furnished with all kitchen equipment, and white goods including washing machine, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The tenancy starts on 12th September 2026 and ideally runs till 11th Sept 2027 but these dates are negotiable. There is a secure garden and bike storage to the rear with free parking for 2 cars on the drive. The number 6 stops on Alcuin Avenue to take you to both university and York city centre or it’s a short walk to university if desired.
