Hi I am the landlord of a 4 bed house on Alcuin Avenue. The rent for the remaining room is £190 per person per week. Rent includes gas, electric, water, internet, tv licence and gardening services. There’s one lovely, quiet student who is staying in the house for another year. They are studying a BSC in psychology (2nd year) and another 2 students are joining them in September who are also doing a BSC in psychology and the 3rd student is doing a BA in English. They are looking for 1 more non smoking, female housemate who is respectful of their quiet nature. Room 1 has a small double bed, overhead storage plus wardrobe with hanging rail and desk. There is a large lounge with table and very comfortable 3 piece suite. The house comes fully furnished with all kitchen equipment, and white goods including washing machine, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The tenancy starts on 12th September 2026 and ideally runs till 11th Sept 2027 but these dates are negotiable. There is a secure garden and bike storage to the rear with free parking for 2 cars on the drive. The number 6 stops on Alcuin Avenue to take you to both university and York city centre or it’s a short walk to university if desired.
