Room available in quiet and convenient location, short pleasant footpath routes to city centre, York University, Rowntree Park or open country, 5 minutes walk to local shops, pubs, eating places.
The house is fully furnished and equipped, including sheets, towels, tableware etc, novels, CDs, audio systems, has gardens back & front, & 2 bathrooms.
It will be shared with a female postgraduate researcher in her 30s, working at home, and very occasionally with the female retired owner.
The rent includes all bills & wi-fi, and some professional gardening and cleaning (but this is not an invitation to slobs - we all do our bit to keep the place civilised!)
Our ideal housemate will be in her 30s or older, domestically active and competent, quiet by day, and sociable whilst also self-sufficient. Someone willing to take on the gardening would be perfect - and would of course be rewarded with lower rent.
