A large, fully furnished double room is available to rent in a welcoming family home on the Beanfield Estate, ideally located close to Corby town centre and within easy walking distance of Willowbrook Health Centre and the boating lake.
About the home:
You will be sharing with myself and my son. I work for the NHS, and my son is a student. We also have two small, friendly dogs and a cat. Our home is quiet, respectful, and neurodiverse- and LGBTQ+ friendly.
The room:
Spacious ground floor double room
Double bed with under-bed storage and comfortable mattress
Wardrobe, cupboards, and drawers
Desk and chair
Large wall-mounted TV (approx. 50”) with Roku stick and Netflix included
Can be unfurnished if you prefer to bring your own furniture
Facilities:
Sole use of a ground floor toilet and basin
Shared main bathroom (upstairs)
Shared kitchen, living room, and garden
Access to washing machine, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, and oven
Option to have your own air fryer/toaster if preferred
Additional details:
Non-smoking and alcohol-free household; tenant must be substance-free in the home
Own bedding required (new duvet and pillows can be provided if needed)
Who we’re looking for:
We would ideally like a working professional. However, we are open to considering:
A parent with a partial care of a child
A retired person
Someone with light care needs (additional costs would apply, to be discussed)
Part-time lodgers (e. g. long-distance drivers or NHS/factory workers), with a potential partial discount
Costs:
£300 deposit
First month’s rent payable in advance
