Hi! I’m looking for a friendly and respectful lodger to share my beautifully styled Victorian terrace in Far Cotton (NN4).
The house has recently been renovated and is full of character, colour, and plants, creating a calm and welcoming space to come home to.
The room available is a recently decorated small double with a cosy, relaxed feel. It includes a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe with additional storage, and a large window that brings in plenty of natural light. The room also features a beautiful original fireplace and has been thoughtfully furnished in a modern, understated style, making it a warm and inviting space to unwind.
The property itself is a two-bedroom Victorian terraced house, which you would be sharing with me as a live-in landlord. The bathroom is shared and includes both a bath and a separate shower. There is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances and comforts, a comfortable living room, and a separate dining area, as well as a garden to enjoy. Free street parking is available, and the house benefits from fast WiFi throughout.
The location is very convenient, with the train station just a 15-minute walk away. Shops, supermarkets, and other local amenities are within a 5-minute walk, and there is easy access to the town centre.
I’m a 40-year-old working professional who enjoys a friendly chat but also values downtime and personal space, so the house has a calm and respectful atmosphere rather than being a party environment. I’m looking for a professional or mature student aged 22–45 who is clean, tidy, and considerate, and who will treat the space as a home rather than just somewhere to stay. Ideally, you’ll have a regular routine and appreciate a peaceful, well-kept living environment; someone with a similar working pattern (not full-time working from home) would be a great fit.
This would ideally suit someone looking for a longer-term, settled home, although shorter-term stays can be considered.
The room is not suitable for pets or couples.
