’im looking for a clean, responsible and calm adult to share the home with.
The household works best when everyone takes equal responsibility for keeping the shared spaces pleasant and well maintained. The ideal flatmate will be comfortable with the following:
🧹 Taking part in regular cleaning of communal areas and helping keep the home tidy.
🗑️ Dealing with the bins regularly, including taking them out and bringing them back in when needed.
🌿 Sharing responsibility for the lawn and garden, including basic upkeep and care.
🏠 Being respectful and aware of communal spaces, leaving them neat and ready for the next person.
🍽️ Washing and putting away dishes rather than leaving piles of dirty plates around.
🥬 Keeping the fridge, oven, microwave clean and not leaving food to spoil or build up.
👕 Not leaving clothes sitting in the washing machine for long periods, so others can use it.
🧘 Being calm, considerate and respectful of the person/people sharing the home.
This is a home where cleanliness, consideration and shared responsibility are important. I’m looking for someone who naturally takes care of their surroundings and understands that keeping a shared home pleasant is a joint effort.
