Double room, bath room, sitting room in farmhouse

I have a MONDAY to FRIDAY let for a single person. A lovely double room with a great view, own bathroom with an even better view and own sitting room. The house is very old and quirky and full of charm, with all the usual facilities one would expect to find in any home.
We are 5 minutes south of j1 A14, easy to get to Northampton, Daventry, Rugby, Market Harborough or kettering.
The area is well stocked with good pubs and eating places and an early morning, late night shop.
I have dogs, horses, sheep and chickens. All well behaved, as am I, and whilst I don't obviously expect any help with the livestock, it would be good if you like dogs.

I lodged with Fiona for 5 months over winter. I am a contractor and lodge whenever I have a contract. Fiona's house is in a lovely position in the middle of farmland but near the A14 and Northampton. It is large, perfectly quiet and peaceful. The rooms are large and airy; as warm as you'd like. There is the bedroom which has a comfortable double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers, an ottoman and a bedside table. Window has a blind and heavy curtain which blocks out any light. The bathroom is very large with a bath with over shower. The water is warm and the pressure is good. The bathroom has storage for toiletries. The sitting room is up one level and is a good size. It's comfortable with a sofa etc. There is a TV and DVD player. The kitchen is a good size with everything in it you would expect and has a dining room connected. There are laundry facilities in a connected barn (I didn't use these so don't really know what they are like). Fiona supplies and launders the bed sheets and towels and makes sure that there is coffee, tea and milk available. She is very considerate and a lovely person. She has a couple of horses which are stabled in the yard on the side of the house away from the bedroom. She also has dogs, three of which are working/outside dogs and two are in door dogs. They are all friendly and well behaved. There is loads of parking off the road. I would recommend this as a great place to lodge - Jon Scott
