A bright, comfortable and beautifully presented double room in a well-kept home in Northampton.

The room is well proportioned and thoughtfully furnished, with a double ottoman bed providing a large amount of useful storage underneath, together with a substantial wardrobe and additional storage.

It feels like a proper bedroom and personal space rather than simply a room with a bed squeezed into it.

The house itself is a big part of what is on offer.

There is a large kitchen and dining area, giving everyone plenty of room to cook, eat and enjoy the communal space comfortably. There is also a pleasant sheltered garden, which is a lovely additional space to use during the warmer months.

The house is fully equipped for normal day-to-day living, with good kitchen and laundry facilities and fast broadband, so the practical side of moving in is already taken care of.

The room is for single occupancy only. The property is council licensed and the permitted occupancy means that unfortunately I cannot accommodate couples in this room.

The location is very convenient, with good access to Northampton town centre and the railway station, making it particularly useful for anyone commuting or wanting easy access to the centre.

I am the live-in landlord, and my aim is to keep the house comfortable, relaxed and well looked after.

Everyone has their own privacy and their own lives, but the house is also somewhere people can feel comfortable using and enjoying the shared areas rather than simply disappearing into their bedrooms.

It isn't a party house, but neither is it intended to feel clinical or overly regimented. The aim is simply to have a pleasant home where everyone can live comfortably together.

I'm looking for someone who is clean, considerate, reliable and easy to live with, who will treat the house as their home and be respectful of the other people living here.

Applicants will be considered on their overall suitability for the household and their ability to comfortably afford the rent.
