A furnished double room is available in a quiet, clean and friendly professional household in Hunsbury Meadows, Northampton.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, mattress, desk, chair, wardrobe and additional storage space. The lodger will also have primary use of the main bathroom, along with shared use of the kitchen, living room and utility areas.

The house is well kept, comfortable and fully equipped, with 900Mbps internet, bills included, and on-street parking available.

The Household

You would be sharing with two live-in landlords who are both working professionals. The house is generally calm and respectful, so we are looking for someone clean, considerate and easy-going who will suit a professional household.

This would best suit someone who is working full-time, reliable with rent, and looking for a comfortable home rather than just a room.

Suitability / Checks

Before arranging viewings, we will ask for some basic information, including:

* Age
* Occupation / employment situation
* Preferred move-in date
* Expected length of stay
* Confirmation that deposit and first month’s rent are available
* Whether you smoke or have pets
* Whether you are happy with standard lodger checks, including ID, Right to Rent and references

One important point to make clear upfront: because one of the live-in landlords is a serving police officer, any adult living at the address may need to be declared to the relevant police vetting/security team. This means we would need your basic details for that purpose, and any lodger agreement would be conditional on there being no objection raised through that process.
