Double room in Westwood

Hi, I’m Lisa and I’m looking for a friendly lodger to share my cosy renovated Victorian end-terrace on the edge of Westwood (NG16). It’s a welcoming home with countryside views and a relaxed atmosphere. LGBTQIA+ welcome.

The house suits someone who enjoys a peaceful home environment, values independence but also enjoys sharing a meal now and then although that's not a requirement. It’s a calm, homely space where people are respectful of each other and considerate of the shared areas.

The room is a bright, fully furnished double with a bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, tall boy and the option of a desk or bookcase (both shown in pics). Blackout blinds and shutters make it comfortable for a good night’s sleep. There will most likely be a second room available in a few months.

You’ll have access to a comfortable living room with a wood burner, a modern bathroom, a dining room with space for yoga or workouts, and a kitchen. There’s also a south-west facing garden with seating and an organic growing bed that you’re welcome to use if you enjoy gardening. On-road parking on a quiet cul-de-sac.

The area is quiet with countryside walks from the door and several pubs within walking distance. The house is well placed for Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield and the Peak District, with easy access to local amenities and just 6 minutes from J27 of the M1.

The house is a tranquil space — headphones are used for devices in communal rooms and Sun - Thu evenings are quiet after 9pm. I’m looking for someone who is clean and naturally leaves shared spaces as they found them.

All bills are included (utilities, broadband and cleaning products). Dogs sometimes visit the house.

I would consider someone with a pet especially a dog, couples and single-parents. (Rent for couples is 1.5x).
