Description
Hello!
I'm going into my 3rd year of my PhD at UoN and am looking for someone to replace my partner on the tenancy renewal for the flat I currently live in (his job is requiring him to move countries). I have loved living in this flat for the past two years and would rather recruit a fellow PhD/professional than go back into student housing if possible! It's a two-bed flat with one shared bathroom in Beeston.
The apartment came unfurnished, but your bedroom (with the red curtains) will have the chest of drawers, nightstand, desk (the black one), and a desk chair (the blue one) in the photos. You will need to provide your own bed, but I am happy to split this cost (and IKEA delivers directly to the apartment!).
The kitchen provides a fridge, separate freezer, espresso machine, electric stove and oven, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, and dish washer. Plates, cups, bowls, utensils etc. are already here so no need to provide your own unless you want to!
The tenancy officially starts on 22 September for 12 months, but I'm flexible with an early move-in if needed!
The monthly rent is £512.50 per person without bills. Bills on average bring the total with rent to around £625, depending on how much we use. These bills also include the WiFi.
There is one parking space allocated per flat in the gated parking lot of the building. I'm still learning to drive, so you are more than welcome to take the space.
Centrally located, the Parkes Building is across the street from both Sainsbury's and Lidl, less than a 5 minute walk to the Beeston Centre tram/bus stop, and a 15 min walk to the Beeston train station.
I'm a very quiet and easy individual. I love a movie night in, as well as a very occasional night out. I love cats, going on walks, and making films in my free time. Please reach out if you’re interested in a viewing and/or have any questions!
