Double room in Beeston, spacious and comfy

The house / room:
The house is recently renovated in a nice leafy and central part of Beeston with great access to shops, public transport and the University of Nottingham. There's a double room available furnished with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelf and bedside table. It's a nice quiet room overlooking the back garden. The rest of the house is well furnished, two reception rooms so plenty of space to relax and/or socialise. Kitchen has washing machine, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer, range cooker. There's a back garden, and quiet and friendly neighbours. Cost includes all bills plus a fortnightly cleaner.

The room is available on a full time basis for £550pm. I'd also be happy with Mon-Fri lets, which would be £385pm.

What type of housemate I'm looking for:
I'm looking for a professional or postgrad. Ideal person would be easy going, friendly, independent, socially responsible and at least a bit sociable (so the occasional glass of wine / film / meal but mostly doing our own things). There's a resident cat so it's ideal if you like cats!

A bit about me:
I'm a live in landlord and I work during the week, so most of my socialising is at the weekends. I'm pretty easy going and get on best with others who are like that too. I tend to have my own activities (including sewing and crochet so you'll see some of that going on!), but also partial to the odd sofa and chatting binge.

The house still needs a few finishing touches, so it's not perfect but is cosy with a good atmosphere. If any odd jobs or bigger work need doing I'll bear in mind your timetable and preferences, and give you plenty of notice.
