Double room in Calverton

Hi,

The room is newly decorated and ready to offer someone a comfortable home. The room contains double bed and bedding, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, bookcase and 3 door wardrobe, flatscreen TV. Towels. Everything you should need to settle in.

The house is a 3 bed semi, shared bathroom with shower/bath, kitchen with electric oven and normal gadgets, washing machine and tumble dryer, central heating, good sized rear garden with various seating zones for summer relaxing, street parking in front of the house. WiFi.

Calverton is roughly 9miles from Nottingham, buses into city centre are very regular all day long, closes bus stop at end of the road. Close to the m1 and a46 but surrounded by fields so feels like the country side. Lots of local amenities, even a greggs! Doctors and dentist in the village.

I work in the week (long hours) so like a quieter life on a school night and bed by 10pm but like a drink or 2 at the weekend watching a movie or something. I'm not the greatest cook but love eating. I would say I'm fairly relaxed and easy to get on with, though I do like a clean house. Happy to socialise, share cooking/meals, watch films, play games but equal do like my own space to recharge. I am DBS checked.

I do work with animals so do have pets. The house is shared with cats and 2 dogs. One is a rescue and can be nervous of new people but comes around quickly and she comes everywhere with me. Though someone who is use to animals could suit better.
I've checked and I haven't gone nose blind like the febreze advert worries about and the house doesn't smell of animals! Haha!

Looking for a 3-6month agreement to start, with view to longer term once confirmed we work well living together in harmony. I've put available from January 2026 just to get Christmas out the way but can be available sooner if needed. Also I've said unsuitable for students because I'm past the age of being a party animal but if your a student that's old before time, do get in touch.
