About the room and property

We are looking for a housemate to rent out a double bedroom in our house in Gedling. We are located near Gedling Country Park and there is a Sainsbury's Local (5-min walk) and Victoria Retail Park (5-min drive) nearby. There is free on-street parking available. Bus 44 and 25 both run nearby and it takes about 35 minutes to get to Nottingham city centre.

The room is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, two nightstands and a TV. We also have kitchen equipment that we are happy to share if you don't have your own.

You will have unrestricted access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and to a separate WC. We have a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is also the possibility to fit a desk in a shared office space. We also have a garden with plenty of space for barbecues in the summer. We have a cat, Kiki.

About us

I'm Lily (she/her), I'm 27 and I work in the field of special need education. My partner, Morley (he/him), is 25 and works in the field of psychology. We both like music, board games and cooking. Morley plays the guitar, likes video games and tabletop games. I like learning languages (I speak 4) and going for walks.

We are ideally looking for a housemate with similar interests. We have no gender preference and we are both part of the LGBTQ community. Smokers are welcome as long as you smoke in the garden We thought a good age range would be between 23 and 35, but if you fall outside this age range and feel like you'd be a good fit, get in touch. We are both quite social and have friends coming over regularly. Someone who speaks French, German, Spanish or a Scandinavian language would be pretty cool.
