Description
Hello, my name is Brad, I am a 29 year old IT engineer and I recently bought a house in Kimberley, Nottingham. I have some spare rooms and am looking at renting them out!
The house is a modern 4 bedroom townhouse in the brand-new "Brewery Yard" development in Kimberley. The house has ample private parking options, including my garage, my driveway, and the private car-park right outside my front door. The house is four-storeys tall, and in my opinion the house is tailor made for a shared living situation - i. e it provides maximum privacy and convenience for all occupants.
The house has 4 bedrooms but I am only looking to rent 2 of them. The 2 available bedrooms are located on the top floor of the house, which effectively would be a private and secluded space for the 2 tenants. The top floor has its own bathroom that I never use, and there is also a large storage cupboard. The entire top floor would be the tenants space and I would never go up there.
There is a nice and spacious shared living room and kitchen, but to be completely honest I spend almost all of my free time at my desk, not really leaving my bedroom! So the communal spaces would be predominantly your domain as well. Remember the house is a new-build so everything in terms of the kitchen appliances etc are all pristine. In addition to the indoor space, the house has a private garden.
Now, let's address the adorable elephant in the room – my indoor house rabbit Daisy! (see photo). While she is given the freedom to roam freely, she chooses to spend the vast majority of her time wherever I am, posing no inconvenience to potential tenants. Rabbits are extremely clean animals (they groom themselves meticulously) and they do not smell. I'm only mentioning her as I am conscious of any potential allergies.
All bills are included in the price, including council tax, and the services of my cleaning lady who visits every two weeks, who would clean your areas too!
The house is a 2 minute walk from Kimberley high-street which has some nice pubs, a big Sainsburys and a bus stop that takes you right into town for £2.
Lastly, I wanted to re-iterate that this wouldn't be your average live-in landlord experience. The entire top floor of the house would be your own private space and I rarely leave my room! I've seen some other ads on this site where they say the house is like a community, and everyone spends all their free time together... that might be great for certain people but personally I enjoy my own space. If you're the same, you wouldn't have to worry about that with the way I am and the layout of this house, we'd all have plenty of privacy. That said, I am super friendly, get along with absolutely anyone and I'll be extremely approachable if you ever need me for anything.
The rooms are currently unfurnished but I'll easily be able to get them furnished before any potential move-in dates! I figured perhaps the potential tenants would want to be involved in the furniture selection process? I. e. "I'd like a desk for my room" or "I'd like an extra large wardrobe for my room" etc.
Anyways, if you're seeking a nice modern house to live in and a hassle-free living arrangement, please shoot me a message. I am looking for some considerate and honest people, that's the only requirement :-)
