Double room available in Kimberley, Nottingham.

THE ROOM
Bright and airy furnished room with double bed, wardrobes, storage. Quiet and separate part of the house so you can have your own space.

FACILITIES
Not technically en-suite however you will have access to a full private bathroom that will be just yours. Includes bath and separate shower.

Shared facilities with just me are washing machine, dryer, garden and patio, lounge. Also there will be some space in the garage for secure storage of things like bikes or outdoor equipment.

Bills included. Includes reliable high speed fibre broadband. (This makes up for the frankly terrible signal).

Off street parking available.

LOCATION
Room is in a large 4 bed townhouse on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately this would not be suitable for someone who would struggle with many flights of stairs. The house is a new build so is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Sunny south facing garden and patio.

House is located on an historic private site off a side street. Quiet and safe location.

Kimberley is a lovely little town just outside of Nottingham. Lots of pubs and an LGBTQ+ friendly bar. Town centre is a 5 minute walk away and included a Sainsbury’s along with lots of other shops and cafes. Buses run past up to every 10 minutes to Nottingham with other destinations being Alfreton, Ripley, Heanor, Eastwood, Nottingham trams, and Ilkeston. Bus to Nottingham takes just 30 minutes.

LIVING WITH ME
I live here with my dog, Koda. I work Monday-Friday. Love to cook. Generally quite a quiet person overall. Will occasionally have some friends round.

Koda is a nervous rescue. She can be a bit full on but she’s lovely once you get to know her.

I’m happy to make sure there are stocks of cleaning supplies, toilet roll, bread, milk butter, etc. to share.

WHO I’M LOOKING FOR
Ideally looking for a professional or mature student who is after a decent place to live for a few months at least and maybe longer. You would need to be comfortable with my dog. Unfortunately due to her nature I can’t accept other pets. I’d prefer someone on their own however you would be welcome to have visitors. Within reason. Don’t have an issue with anyone who vapes, but no smokers please. I’m a little apprehensive about having a lodger but needs must. Please be respectful of me and my home.

Overall I’m looking for someone I could be friends with. I’d respect your space but it would be nice to live with someone I really get on with. I would like to meet you first before any move in.

EXTRA INFO
I would be able to make another double sized room on the top floor available as extra space for you if you needed. This could be as a private lounge room, home office space, etc.

Both rooms require redecorating and some furnishing. I would be happy to pick this within reason of style and budget to your taste unless you wish to supply your own furniture.
