The price includes:
The Room:
A freshly decorated double bedroom, fully furnished containing a double bed with a new mattress, wardrobe and plenty of storage space.
The option to decorate if you wish.

Bathroom:
A shared bathroom (shared with 1 other female only) with a bath/shower, toilet and basin and plenty of storage.
There is an additional downstairs WC.

Kitchen:
Your own fridge/freezer and kitchen storage space. Use of a fully equipped kitchen including induction hob, dish washer, microwave, double air fryer and instant pot.
Kitchen dining table and garden view breakfast bar.

Lounge and dining area:
A large sofa, TV area in front of the log burner.
A dining area for up to 8 people.
A king daybed for guests to stay.

Garden.
Large patio and bbq area with seating.
Shed and garage for storage.
Kitchen allotment garden.
Greenhouses and 12 raised beds growing fresh produce.

Who are we?

Chris (32) & Michelle (32)
We have spent the last 5 years travelling the world and house sharing our way around New Zealand. We absolutely loved living with other people and decided that on our return to our hometown, we would buy a house and house share ourselves!

Chris is a Gardener and Michelle works IT from her home office.

We love to travel, we love good food, we love animals, we love quiet nights by the fire with a good movie. We love a good murder mystery party.

We have a 2 year old Jack-a-poo dog. He is well behaved, does not shed hair and is hypoallergenic. He does plenty of tricks and absolutely loves people and snuggles.

We are very eco conscious, we reduce, reuse and recycle as much as we can. We harvest fresh produce from our kitchen garden all year and we will have chickens (no noisy cockerel) at the bottom of the garden for daily fresh eggs from Easter onwards.

References:
We already have 1 wonderful housemate who moved in Nov 2023. She has been with us 3 months and we love her already!
She is our reference. Who better to talk to about what it's like living with us than someone who's got 3 months experience.

We require a reference from you too please.

Pets – WE LOVE PETS! – Due to already having a dog we would not accept cats or another dog. However – All other animals are negotiable. There is plenty of space in the garden for rabbits, guinea pigs ect. And you are welcome to keep hamsters, rodents, or fish in your room.

Please note: none smoking preferred.
Your friends/family are welcome to come and visit/stay. We have a kingsize daybed (sleeps 2) and a sofa bed which can sleep 4 in the lounge.


Money:
£600pcm (first payment due on move in day)

Bond £600 - (to be paid to secure the room. This will be returned on vacating subject to no damage caused)

Lodger contract to be signed.

Move in : From 1st March 2024.
