Hello everyone, I am currently living in a two bedroom apartment at The Barnum in Nottingham. I share the open plan living & kitchen area only with another house mate, but she has decided to leave on the 11th of December to move in with her partner so I am looking for someone new to share with. We have both lived here for one year, and I am looking to extend my contract for another. The apartment has got two separate bathrooms, I have the one with a shower and you would have the one with a bath with a shower head also. There is a social lounge, receptionists during the day, security throughout the night, a gym, pool table and a rooftop terrace. The bills aren’t included, so council tax, water and electricity will be added on top of the rent cost but we will be sharing the cost with each other split down the middle. Council tax is £114 a month, which is divided by 2. Water around £160 a month again between two & electric is the same as water divided by 2 which makes it £217 on top of the rent cost around £900 altogether in rent and all the bills etc. The apartment is furnished, so you only need to bring your quilt & cutlery etc. The apartment is on the first floor, which is just a 30 second walk from the gym and there is a lift so when you move your things in it’s easy to do so.
References will be checked + affordability. You need to be in full time work, but will still be accepted on NMW as it goes on the costs of both of us combined rather than separate. I would prefer a female, someone laid back + friendly, but I am not ruling out males.
Council tax band: C - shared cost between the both of us.
The deposit is the first month’s rent, plus £50. The person who is leaving will only get their deposit back, if you choose to pay this deposit. If you choose not to, then they will not get theirs back.
There is a possibility you could move in on the first of December, rather than the 11th. This is due to the fact my current housemate, will have her things moved out by then.
