Hello,
I am a live in landlord with two rooms available on a lodging arrangement (opposed to fixed tenancy) from the end of January 2022.
As I frequently stay overnight away from the property (my girlfriend lives up the road in Hucknall) my preference is to let to young professional friends or a couple (i. e. people who already know each other and get on), although again I can be flexible here for the right person/people. Rent is £450pcm per room with all bills included (with an expectation that specifically energy usage will be fair / conscious, otherwise this is subject to review).
About the house:
- 3 Beds (1-Me, 2-Available)
- Good size bedrooms with beds, storage, desk/chairs (i. e. fully furnished, although if you would like to change things in due course / bring your own furnishings we can arrange this)
- Large combined kitchen and dining space
- Living room with TV and license
- 1 Bathroom (with bath and shower)
- Off road parking for 1 car (availability of on street parking also good)
- Dehumidifier / tumble dryer (to keep damp away...)
- Combi-boiler (hot water on demand, not tank)
- Will consider pets (as our cats now live at the girlfriends)
Nottingham City Centre Access:
- 15 minutes drive
- 25 minutes door-to-door via tram (David Lane)
- 20 minutes cycle (which I do, simple shed-type bike storage available in the garden)
- 60 minutes walk
Other Access:
- 10 minutes to M1 J26
- 30 minutes to Derby (M1 / A52)
- 40 minutes to Loughborough (M1)
- 50 minutes to Leicester (M1 / A50)
The house is also particularly well suited for easy commuting to Nottingham City Hospital.
Nearby there are also ample supermarkets, Aldi/Co-op (15 mins walk) or Tesco Extra (20 mins walk), plus Vernon Park which is a good patch for green space / running.
