Room available in the countryside

I have a double room available in Selston, Nottingham, with shared communal areas. (Note: the pictures are quite old, the house has been decorated since then!)

I work full time in the emergency services, so the house sits empty a lot!

My home is a 3 bed terraced house, with a very country feel complete with a log burner.

I share my home with my little boy (I have him half the time) and three dogs and a cat.

Looking to find someone who likes a quiet life, who doesn’t mind that I’m not there a lot and who will just treat my home like their own. I don’t have a lot of visitors aside from family every now and then and my partner. My pets are very friendly. I would be open to accepting other house trained pets too! I’m very relaxed, and very outdoorsy. If you don’t mind a country pub beer garden too, that would be nice!

Potential tenant must be in employment.

You have the choice of two rooms, whichever suits you better. I’m also happy for you to decorate it as you please providing it’s not really dark colours that I’ll have a crisis trying to cover if you move out!

I’d love to meet someone to be friends with, I’ve been very fortunate that for the past 2 years my two lodgers have been really lovely and we’ve developed great friendships so I’m looking for the same again. This doesn’t mean you have to spend every night with me; but if you fancied a takeaway and movie night; I wouldn’t say no!
