Description
We’re a Southeast Asian and English couple with two gentle indoor cats, offering a comfortable ensuite double room in our Victorian terraced home. Since we share our home with two affectionate cats, being pet-friendly is essential. The house is kept clean, quiet, and welcoming — ideal for a professional or mature student who values a peaceful environment.
The room is fully furnished with a double bed, new pillows, desk and chair, lamp, personal air purifier, built in space area to hang clothes, and drawers. You’ll also have your own ensuite with shower, toilet, and sink. Optional weekly or fortnightly cleaning with bedding change can be arranged.
Shared spaces include a fully equipped kitchen with appliances and washing machine, a quiet lounge with TV, a small courtyard for fresh air, and regular communal cleaning included to keep the home tidy. For safety there is CCTV in the communal areas, and to keep things clean we ask that no outdoor shoes are worn inside (new slippers are provided).
Rent: £625 per month - all bills included (utilities, WiFi, council tax)
Deposit: £625 (refundable at the end of a satisfactory stay)
A written lodger agreement will be signed before moving in
Single occupancy only
Requirements:
Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
Proof of employment or study (payslip, contract, or enrolment letter)
A reference (landlord, employer, or professional/character reference)
Proof of Right to Rent in the UK (if applicable: visa, residence permit, or share code)
