The room itself is lockable too, for added security. There are 2 central heating radiators, plus a third in the en-suite, one in the lavatory and one in the adjacent hallway. The room also enjoys direct access on to the small garden, where there is a small patio and washing line. Essentially, you will have the ground floor of the house to yourself. The total floor area of the room is greater than most studio flats. You will not find a larger room for rent in Nottinghamshire.

Built in 2009, a 3-storey corner plot on a quiet cul-de-sac, five minutes walk from the centre of Sutton in Ashfield. Neutral, contemporary decor throughout. Council Tax Band A., energy efficiency rating C. Kitchen/diner and living room with matching modern furnishings, fridge freezer with cold water dispenser, washing machine, slow cooker etc. There is car parking adjacent to the house.
The Location
Regular buses to Nottingham, Mansfield, both of Mansfield's hospitals, Hucknall, Alfreton & Derby pass within 100 metres. J28 of the M1 and the A38 are under 10 mins drive away. Asda and the town centre are 5 mins walk away; right next door is a huge public park with lake, woods, outdoor gym, tennis courts, cafe etc.
The Housemate
48 year-old male professional from Rainworth, having also lived in Pontypridd and Sheffield. Employed in the education sector since 2014, I've also made money from writing for the national press. Non-smoker, with no children or pets. Current Enhanced DBS certificate can be provided. He/him.
Included in the Rent
All utilities; council tax; TV Licence; unlimited high-speed wi-fi. The communal areas are regularly cleaned, and your room will be thoroughly cleaned for your arrival. Upon arrival, you will receive a 'welcome pack' of essentials such as tea, coffee, detergent etc.
At £125 per week including all bills, the rent for the room is lower than the UK average room price*, plus the room itself is larger than average and is en-suite; the vast majority aren't.
Small pets are welcome, i. e. guinea pigs, rabbits, fish etc., but the house is unsuitable for cats or dogs. The previous few housemates have been perfect, so I'm only accepting applications from similar individuals.
