We have a room becoming available in early December ‘24.
It is a large, bright room which is neutrally decorated & fully furnished including double bed, wardrobe & chest of drawers. There is plenty of space to add a desk &/or an armchair. It is on the first floor with window to the front with a view of a very pretty copper beech tree.
The house is continually well maintained and decorated throughout, with a fully equipped kitchen, sunny garden with table & seating area, large shared bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower, downstairs cloakroom, laundry area and a lovely lounge/diner.
Carlyle Rd is a quiet, tree lined street in West Bridgford. It is well situated, within easy walk of of the centre of West Bridgford, Asda, David Lloyd & bus routes into the city centre.
The shared areas are kept clean and tidy & would suit someone who is friendly and sociable, but who is also respectful of others. This is not a student party style house share, instead the other housemates are all young professionals who enjoy socialising together but are really considerate. Most tenants stay several years and even when housemates do move on they usually remain good friends with the remainder of the housemates.
Parking is on road, no permits required. The road does fill up in the evenings, so you may not be parked directly outside the house, but you should never be more than a minutes walk away.
Rents are £695. This is fully inclusive of all bills (gas, water, elec, council tax, landline, cable tv, broadband, & gardener). There are no contract fees.
About me, I’m a live-out landlord. My husband and I have only 2 tenanted houses, both in West Bridgford, which we’ve had for 20+ years. We care passionately about the quality of accommodation we provide (both houses are redecorated and fixtures & fittings updated regularly), and we care about the happiness of all of the housemates. There are no hidden charges, rent is fully inclusive, from providing Christmas trees to changing light bulbs to maintaining the gardens. Also, all issues that arise (eg, a broken washing machine which was replaced within 24hrs) are dealt with quickly, as part of the service we provide, without the need to go through an agency.
