Room Available in Quiet, Alcohol-Free House Share – Ideal for Student or Young Professional

Hey, I’m 19 and a live-in landlord looking for someone chilled and respectful to move into the spare room in my house. It’s technically my mum’s place, but she lives elsewhere —so it’s just me and sometimes our dog.

I’m an apprentice science technician, into my studies, and I’m after someone who vibes with a calm and low-key lifestyle. This is a STRICTLY no-alcohol house. I don’t drink and prefer to keep the space clean and peaceful. I do enjoy a chill vibe so if you're cool with that, great—but absolutely no heavy partying or drinking here or any other substances. The lodger agreement will include an eviction if this rule is broken.

There’s no TV (and no TV licence), but there’s Wi-Fi and space if you want to set up your own gear. You’ll get access to shared kitchen, lounge, bathroom with shower, and we can sort out furniture if you’ve got your own but it comes fully furnished anyway.

The room’s available from September 2025 -. Rent is £500 a month and there’s a £500 deposit, both due before you moving in so that I always have the rent in advance.

My dog stays here part-time (shared custody with my mum), so you’ll need to be cool with dogs. She’s super friendly.
